Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the PRIVM Affiliate Program (the "Program") as an independent affiliate ("Affiliate", "you"). By registering for a Affiliate account, checking the acceptance box during registration, or continuing to use your Affiliate dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Program lets you refer new customers to PRIVM using your own unique referral code and link. When someone signs up through your link, they're attributed to you, and you may earn a commission on the subscription revenue they generate, subject to the eligibility rules below.

You're issued a unique referral code and link when you register. You can change your referral code at any time from your dashboard, but doing so takes effect immediately and permanently breaks any link you've already shared using the old code — there is no redirect from the old code to the new one. You're responsible for updating anywhere you've shared your link if you change your code.

A customer is attributed to you when they sign up using your referral code within the attribution window PRIVM has in place at the time (currently 30 days from when they first use your link). Once attributed, a customer remains linked to your account for a commission-eligible period (currently 365 days from attribution) — subscription payments they make within that period may generate commission for you; payments made after it ends do not.

PRIVM determines attribution using the technical signals available at the time (link clicks, app install data, or a referral code the customer enters themselves at sign-up). Attribution decisions are made in good faith based on those signals and PRIVM's records are the authoritative source in the event of any dispute.

Your commission rate is shown on your dashboard and applies to qualifying subscription payments made by customers attributed to you. Commission is calculated as a percentage of the actual subscription amount paid, in the currency the customer paid in, and is fixed at the moment the payment is processed — it is never recalculated later based on currency exchange rate movements.

PRIVM may adjust commission rates for the Program generally, or for your account specifically, with reasonable notice. Commission already earned at a given rate is not affected retroactively by a later rate change.

Refunds, chargebacks, or cancelled subscriptions do not generate commission, and PRIVM reserves the right to reverse commission already credited for a payment that is later refunded or charged back.

You may not, and agree not to:

• Refer yourself, an account you control, or an account belonging to a household or business member for the purpose of generating commission on your own activity.
• Use fraudulent, incentivized, deceptive, or misleading means to generate referrals, including fake accounts, bots, or paid/incentivized sign-ups that misrepresent PRIVM.
• Impersonate PRIVM, claim to be an employee or official representative unless authorized, or make promises about PRIVM's products that PRIVM has not authorized.
• Spam, or contact people through channels that violate applicable law or the terms of the platform you're using to share your link.

Violating this section may result in forfeiture of unpaid commission tied to the violation, in addition to suspension or termination under Section 8.

You can request a withdrawal of your available commission balance from your dashboard, subject to the withdrawal frequency shown there. Withdrawals are paid to the bank account you provide, in the same currency as the commissions being withdrawn — PRIVM does not convert between currencies when paying out.

You're responsible for providing accurate bank account details and for any taxes owed on commission you earn. PRIVM may delay or decline a withdrawal while investigating suspected fraudulent or prohibited activity on your account.

PRIVM may deactivate your Affiliate account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or at its reasonable discretion. Deactivation stops new customer attribution through your code going forward; it does not, by itself, cancel commission already earned and payable under these Terms, except where that commission resulted from prohibited conduct under Section 6.

You may stop participating in the Program at any time by ceasing to share your referral link. Commission already earned on customers attributed to you before you stop remains payable under these Terms.

PRIVM may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use your Affiliate dashboard after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to you by email or an in-dashboard notice where reasonably practicable.

PRIVM processes your personal data and the data of customers you refer in accordance with PRIVM's Privacy Policy, available on the PRIVM website.

The Program is provided on an as-is basis. PRIVM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your participation in the Program, including losses related to technical issues affecting referral tracking or attribution.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
